What is Inkblot Comedy?
Inkblot Comedy is what I’m calling my fictional comedic writings based on historical characters and/or events written in a script format. These short scenes have been written purely for entertainment and comedic purposes and historical accuracy is not the focus. Though based on historical people, the personalities I develop for them are my own imaginings from my understanding of history.
The inkblot name comes from the idea that while a scene is written to be funny, there is usually an air about it that carries a dark stain due to the sad nature of some of the history.
Satire can be tricky, so please know these writings are always meant to bring a laugh, and no offence is ever intended. It is up to the reader to determine if the pieces are appropriate for them.
